Light Kit For Retro Radio 10334-Briksmax

The first thing I thought when I saw this light kit was "why would there be lights around the radio dials?" I thought it looked nice anyway, so I was excited to set it up. These lights have been the most rage inducing thing ever.
The instructions to put them on are so overcomplicated, for example the cable for the light near the tuner has to be run through the bricks, when you could just run it through the literal gap between the tuner and internal components? The instructions are awful and you'd think they designed them this way so you could still put your phone inside the radio, but the setup of the lights doesn't make that possible regardless of the instruction process.
I got these lights a few months ago but only got the set/assembled the lights on recently, so it's a shame the refund policy for this mirrors the setup process of the lights with how terribly thought out both are.
The second worst part of this is that the lights didn't even work. This patience-testing setup would have been moderately worth it if the lights worked, it felt a waste to buy the correct batteries and spend extra money on what's already a plague of a purchase. This clearly wasnt an issue of my doing since I'd set up the lights correctly and plugged everything in correctly.
Now I would actually forgive the terrible instructions, impossible refund policy, AND the lights failing to work if it weren't for the fact that when taking the lights off, the adhesive squares you apply to some lights leave awful sticker residue on some bricks. This was made even worse when I used sticker remover, and (I guess this isn't the lights' fault but they caused this) white streaks were left on the bricks. To top it all off, one of the bricks has broken as a result of having to remove the lights and sticker residue.
I can't refund this, I can't turn the lights on, I have to replace a few bricks. Maybe other people have had good experiences but the failure that these lights have brought me have tested my morality and willpower.

This light kit really brings this radio to life! From a distance, it looks real just like a vintage item. Thanks guys, good job. Easy installation too!!
